This Southgate Driveway is a welcome addition to our gallery of driveways as it simply looks stunning.

The client came to us and said ‘we want something different from everyone else.’ Who are we to refuse? So we gathered our crack team of designers and fitters, manned our diggers and set to work to transform this North London Driveway.

The best look for this Southgate Driveway?

We knew the best material for this driveway would be resin.

But which colour and texture to choose? The client did decide on a natural and earthy colour which complemented the brickwork of the house itself.

The client also wanted to make the path and driveway really zing so decided on a edging called Brindle from the Brett Paving Omega range – did we mention we are also Brett PREMIER Approved Contractors??

What made the edging stand out even more is that, rather than lay the blocks lengthsway, we lay them widthwise. This is known as Soldier Course and, although requires a lot more blocks, it really gives you a sharp edge to your driveway or paving.

Underneath the 20mm of high quality resin you will find 80mm of permeable, UV durable tarmac. What’s so special about that you ask?

Well, not only does this provide a smooth surface for the resin, it also ensures that any rainwater does not sit on the driveway itself – which can lead to staining. Instead the water will soak through the resin and the tarmac, and back to Mother Nature.
