Getting to the root of the problem
When we create a new driveway we want it to last for a very long time. However, as tree roots grow, they can spread under the drive and cause damage.
“With this job we built in a tree root barrier.” Said our design director, Stephen Lewis. “We basically had to dig down and surround the tree roots with concrete. It does not stop the tree growing, as it allows the plant to grow upwards, however it does stop roots spreading out and causing massive damage.”
