The client wanted a new patio for their home in East Finchley, North London, and chose a light grey sandstone to create a natural yet modern feel. Our work also encompassed laying articificial grass, building in sleepers for the borders and building a new studio/summerhouse for the client.

I wanted to take the time to drop you a message following the completion of our extensive garden works and to say how happy we were with the job done. By way of background, we had flooding issues which badly damaged our garden. During lockdown we decided to bite the bullet and completely rebuild, repurpose and re-landscape our garden.

We went to  a number of companies to bid for what was a very extensive project. It entailed levelling, creating new patio areas and installing drainage. We also needed a company to manage other aspects such as putting down astro turf and the building of a Garden Room.

The reason we decided to go with Diamond Driveways (away from any cost considerations) was without doubt, your team member, Steven. He truly did care and had an excellent eye for detail. Above all else, he also had a focus and trust which I immediately warmed to as it was essential all works were completed for our Son’s Bar Mitzvah. Not only did Steven assure us all would be done, he also introduced us to the installers of the astro and the builders of the garden room and managed all parties seamlessly to ensure an excellent result.

I also wanted to praise your workmen who were incredibly polite and hardworking. They worked like absolute Trojans to ensure everything was done and with an excellent eye for detail and care which, in my experience, is rarely found. They also had to contend with our fractious neighbour during the works which they did admirably.
